Bosch Specialty Techno Minibot
Bosch offers a variety of ball screw and belt drive slides. Normally using 2 rails and 4 runner blocks these items are extremely robust and exhibit the quality and durability of Bosch linear components. The PSK series is the most recent addition and provides the greatest capacity for the respective form factor.
Hiwin offers three distinct K Series slides. The open and least expensive is the KK series. The KS series is for class 10-100 clean room applications and features a dustproof sealed construction. The KA series are the larger units with greater capacity and strokes up to 1250mm.
Specialty Motions offers a variety of different products. The MP and XLA Series feature the use of two miniature ball rails with 4 runner blocks on precise milled aluminum bases. The MP series use 3, 5 and 7 mm MBRs. The XLA use 9 and 15 mm MBRs with corresponding load capacities and travel. Ball screws can be rolled or ground as required. The ECO33 features interchangeable mounting to the THK33 for a much lower cost for those less precise applications. Twinlite uses the shaft and linear bearing construction for less critical and lower cost applications.
Techno slides use patented ISEL bearing systems and come in both belt driven and ball screw driven configurations. Using standard T7 16mm rolled ball screws the slides come in narrow profile, standard and heavy duty. Belt drives include the light duty ZF1, Blueline 1 for medium loads and the new robust Voyager VP1 for heavier loads.
The Minibot is made from miniature ball rails (MBRs) size 7, 9, 12 and 15. Offered in single or multiple axis configurations the Minibot is the least costly, most versatile single or multiple axis product for light loads and reasonable accuracy. The Minibot is provided in both ball screw and lead screw configurations with a variety of leads corresponding to size.
