Western Components is pleased to introduce a new line of stepper motors and dc brushless motors.   

Below left is a picture of the 20mm (0.8”) 1.8 degree stepper motor. Stepper motors are available from 20mm to 130mm (NEMA 8 to 52).  Standard is 1.8 degree step angle but in NEMA size 23 there are also 0.9 degree step angle motors. 3 phase is available in size 23, 35, 42 and 52. Also available in size 42 is a step angle of 1.2 degrees or 150 steps per revolution.

Above right is a picture of the 16mm DC brushless motor with a no load speed of 35,555 rpm. This unit requires external electronic commutation. Cost of the units is $150 in single lots and $100 in 100 pcs quantity. There are two electronic commutation products – one a low voltage and one at high voltage. The cost on the high voltage unit is $ $50 in single lots and for the low voltage is $85 in single lots. DC brushless motors are available in sizes 14 to 84 (mm). DC brushless motors with built-in electronics commutation is available in sizes 26,30,35, 43, 44 and 75. DC brushless motors are also available with built in reduction gears from size 16 to 58.
