Another new product offering is SDP's Shaftloc. Both the Fairloc and Shaftloc provide improved holding strength without deforming the mounting surface of the shaft. The newest product introduction is Gates TruMotion belting. With a polymer material and fiberglass featuring wider temperature range and 60% less particulate generation over life.

The modification of a bore diameter, a flat on a shaft, or more complex products - like sector gears, custom assemblies are provided to many of Stock Drive Products/Sterling Instrument's customers according to the customer specifications. Or SDP can provide a complete custom product such as a sector gear or a gear train with a motor. Lead times are reasonable for custom assemblies - usually 6-8 weeks.
